In 2007, she settled down in Austin, TX to raise a family that was fueled by her fiery spirit. Brazilian cheese bread was always a staple at the dinner table, until, empowered by a love of animals and the planet, Claudia decided to go vegan. In 2020, like many others, Claudia found herself with some extra time on her hands and began to experiment in the kitchen. After months of weighing, mixing, and weighing some more, Claudia finally recreated the food that her family loved so dearly, rebranding it as the Ch-Easy Bread.
With her new, plant-based Brazilian Cheese bread in hand, she started RioGood, a company all about making it easy to adopt a plant-based lifestyle. We believe that by making it easier for people to adopt a more sustainable diet, we can change the food system for the better.
